HDD Low Level Format Tool 4.25

HDD Low Level Format Tool - Low-level hard disk drive formatting

HDD Low Level Format Tool is a free application for low-level hard disk drive formatting.

Low-level formatting removes all files and partitions, basically defining or recreating the tracks and sectors on the disk. Low-level formatting represents a solution for fixing or repairing a damaged disk sector and removing some viruses that affect the hard drive.

On extensively used hard-disks, with a lot of written and erased information, some sectors can become “exhausted”. Low-level formatting recreates the sectors, clearing all the information that was written and erased but continues to be stored in some way.

HDD Low Level Format Tool supports IDE / SATA / SCSI, RAID hard drives with sizes up to 281 474 976 710 655 bytes , external USB / Firewire hard disks, memory sticks, flash cards, pen drives, etc.

Features:

- Supported interfaces: S-ATA (SATA), IDE (E-IDE), SCSI, USB, FIREWIRE. Big drives (LBA-48) are supported.

- Supported Manufacturers: Maxtor, Hitachi, Seagate, Samsung, Toshiba, Fujitsu, IBM, Quantum, Western Digital.

- The program also supports low-level formatting of FLASH cards using a card-reader.

Note:

After performing a low-level format, all existing data will be lost without possibility to recover it. Backing up important data before low-level formatting is highly recommended. HDD Low Level Format Tool 4.25 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform. HDD Low Level Format Tool is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
